Need an adventure?

Ecuador has twice as many plant species than all of North America, more mammals per square meter than anywhere else on the planet, the most variations of frogs among its 400 species, and 350 types of reptiles! Experience the country's incredible bio diversity. Travel past active volcanos, snowy mountains, and rushing rivers to arrive in the Amazon Rainforest. Contribute to green living while learning about the Kichwa culture. Activities and the length of the trip can be customized to the interests of your group.

During your stay, you will contribute to a sustainability project, live alongside the Arajuno River, learn about the indigenous Kichwa culture, and experience daily life in the Amazon.

The price of a 10 day trip is 1,000.00USD per person. Food, housing, and all excursions are included. Flights are additional. Please contact us at TwoRiveresReserve@gmail.com or call/text 631-258-1220 for more information.

Reforestation
You will help to replant parts of this unique ecosystem that have been lost to logging, petroleum exploitation, and cattle farming. Learn the process of growing trees from seeds to saplings. Learn to collect seeds, prepare compost, prepare the reforestation site, and plant trees to restore the biodiversity of the area.

Language and Culture Exchange
While all trips will provide you with an incredible learning experience, this trip has a focus that allows you to share your English skills, practice your Spanish skills, and learn some Kichwa words as well. Experience traditional Amazonian food and dance, as environmental and cultural knowledge is shared. You will work with students in a daily after school program which will focus on colors numbers, and basic English vocabulary through games, songs, cooking, and more!

Projects can include the construction of gardens, greenhouses, hen houses, fish ponds, the planting of food, and the sharing of knowledge to eliminate community health issues related to nutrition.
